CBE: NEW TESTAMENT DAILY AUDIO & TEXT:
Want More? The Community Bible Experience: First Testament is coming soon!
Experience the historical books of the Old Testament (referred to in this edition as the First Testament), minus centuries of artificial formatting. The Books of the Bible is a Bible unlike any other--one more like the originial Scriptures. It's specially designed to encourage better Bible reading, enabling you to read and understand whole books. The Covenant History volume includes Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, and Samuel-Kings.
How The Community Bible Experience Works:
• First, commit to reading/listening to the whole New Testament or (1/3 of the Old) from start to finish.
For $8, each participant gets a copy of The Books of the Bible, a revolutionary presentation of Scripture designed to help you read or listen to its whole books(Bibles are for sale at Biblica.com; free daily downloadable PDF versions are also available here)
In addition to the print copies, a free mp3 audio version is also available for those who prefer listening instead of reading — or listening as they read. There is also a free shorter audio version for kids with a Parent’s Guide, that follows the Community Bible Experience reading plan, so parents can share the journey with their kids.
• Second, read/listen 5 days a week. You’ll cover an average of 12 pages a day. (That’s about 20 minutes’ worth of reading.)
• Third, meet with a small group once a week to talk about what you’ve read. These gatherings can be more like a book club than a traditional Bible study. Or, partner with someone one-on-one or use the CF Facebook page to join the community discussion.
Read (or listen) big. Read real. Read togther.
